Credits reset at the end of each billing period. Each credit represents 512 tokens of text, and the number of credits required to analyze a piece of text is determined by rounding up to the nearest 512 tokens. This means that if your text contains 1000 tokens, it would require 2 credits to analyze. Generally speaking, 512 tokens would be equivalent to around 256-512 words, but this can vary depending on how many long or short words are used in the text. For example, a text that contains mostly short words would have more tokens than the same text with mostly long words.
Our text analysis service uses state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and multiple methods to analyze text. We use 3 different methods. If the methods all agree, it will be very likely that the prediction is accurate. However please note that, as with any model, the accuracy may vary depending on the complexity and variety of the text. Read more about reliability.
The maximum number of documents you can process at once in the playground is currently limited to 1, but will change soon. In the meantime, you could integrate our API. Our text analysis service can process plain text, .txt files, .docx/.doc files, and .pdf files.
Anyone can use the API and calls with subtract the number of credits you have left during the billing period. We do not currently offer pay-per-call plans, but we are open to discussing customized plans for enterprise users.
If you cancel your plan, you will keep your credits for the remainder of the billing period and will be charged for the current period. If you update your plan, you won’t be charged or upgraded until the next billing period.
